You can now browse ANY website and instantly enjoy the social communication features of Skabble.

Skabble on Sites and Directories
Browse to any website you like, and click on the Skabble button, which appears on the bottom left of your browser. The Skabble button shows you the number of users on the website you are browsing, even without clicking on it. (Also, the Skabble button is movable, can be hidden temporarily, or removed completely)

When you click on the Skabble button, you will join the site’s chat room, and you will be able to communicate with all other users in that room.

Skabble features a unique directory line, in which each website you visit is categorized. You can join any category’s chat room in the directory line. In the above case, just click on “Online Media” for example, and you will  be able to connect to other Skabble users who are now browsing online media sites, like youtube.com. You can either open a new external chat room window, or activate the chat room in the current chat window on the site.

By the way, the Skabble messenger “Sites” tab also shows how many Skabble users are on the sites you’re currently browsing.

Public Chat, Private Chat , Voice and Video Communication
On public chats you can communicate via chat and voice. For chat – simply type and click enter. To use your microphone and let others hear you – click on the “Talk” button.  To speak independently of your keyboard, choose the “Hands Free” option and speak your mind as you like.

To send a private message, simply double click their user name on the user list.

To block a particular user , simply right-click their username in the user list on the right, and choose “block user”.

In private messages you can also communicate via video. Just right-click on the username and choose “Audio Video Chat”. Once the other side agrees, you can both have a video and/or audio session.

There are a number of ways to add new contacts to your Skabble contact list.
You can search and add other Skabble users by clicking on “Add Contact” for a simple search or “Search Skabble User” for an advanced search. Both button are on your Skabble messenger.
